Born and raised in Paris, Texas, Alychemist is a genre-defying artist whose journey into music is rooted in reclaiming a voice that was silenced for far too long. Childhood criticism surrounding their singing, controlling environments, and early relationship abuse created years of fear around speaking openly and expressing their truth. Although those experiences initially kept Alychemist away from music, they ultimately became the very reasons they were led back to it.

After beginning to create music only about a year ago, Alychemist discovered something greater than a creative outlet. Music became a path toward freedom, purpose, and healing. As both a healer and someone continuing their own healing journey, Alychemist believes music is one of the most powerful tools people have for processing pain, restoring confidence, and reconnecting with themselves. Their purpose is not only to heal through their own expression, but to create something that may help others do the same.

Refusing to be confined to one genre, Alychemist creates a sound that is energetic, spiritual, emotionally open, and intentionally dualistic. Their music explores love and fear, light and darkness, positivity and pain—recognizing that growth requires acknowledging both sides of the human experience. Themes of trauma, shadow work, spiritual gifts, transformation, and self-discovery appear throughout their work, balanced by moments created simply for joy and enjoyment. Many songs also contain channeled light language, incorporated as a subtle spiritual element intended to connect with listeners beyond the words themselves.

Influenced by Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, and Matisyahu, Alychemist draws inspiration from each artist’s ideas, energy, authenticity, and willingness to stand apart. They are especially drawn to music from the 1960s through the early 2000s—an era they value for its organic, unmistakably human feeling. Rather than copying any particular sound, Alychemist transforms those influences into something personal and entirely their own.

Finding their voice has helped Alychemist replace fear with hard-earned confidence. Their music offers listeners an honest window into who they are, what they believe, and how they understand life and healing. Being part of Delta Squad has also created meaningful relationships with people they have grown to consider family, while several members have helped shape and encourage their musical and creative direction.
